Pirate Princess Layout

I used A Child's Year cricut cartridge for the pirate accents and the tiara.  I used serenade for the flourish and I think Once Upon a Princess cartridge for the Princess word. The scull and cross bones in the centre of the flowers are small cut oust with varnish to make them look like brads.  The flowers are from kaisercraft.

A must see ad, watch with tissues

Kaisercraft Outlet Stores a great resource for Aussie scrappers and crafters.

Last week I was excited to discover that  Kaisercraft had an Outlet store in Melbounre. It is located at DFO Moorabbin.  (I had been aware that Kaisercraft had an outlet in Geelong, but always thought that the fuel costs to drive there from Melbourne would offset any savings, so I never bothered to make the trip).
Well the store is huge. Such a great range and a lot of stuff at half price.  They run classes and I had my daughter do a school holiday class. For $9 she made a chipboard mini album with a huge selection of embellishments such as paper flowers and rhinestones to use.  It was great value, as a comparison a scrapbook store that I frequent charges $15 for a kids class, with materials for the project extra.   I like the fact that I can browse their website get some inspiration from their samples and gallery, and then visit the store and be fairly certain I will be able to get everything I need for my planned page.  They stock all but their very latest paper release, which they save as exclusives for their stockists for a time period. The only range that I couldn't find there that I was interested in was the La Di Da range.  Their other outlet stores are in Adelaide, Robina, Geelong,Browns Plains, Toowoomba.  check out their website  Kaisercraft

Brand new and shiny

Well I have been inspired my some really great papercraft and Scrapbooking blogs that I have been viewing over the last 6 months. Particularly since I got my Cricut Machine last year. There is a wealth of information out there and I have learnt a lot. Especially from all the fantastic videos and posts on My Pink Stamper. Thanks Robyn. Anyway I have finally got around to starting my own. Not sure what it will become, but in any case it will be a place for me to post pictures of projects I am doing as part of challenges I enter on other blogs. Hope to post some pictures soon.
